Helping Hands

The cornerstone of Poway is the wonderful community that holds together in good times and in challenging times. Love My Town was inspired by the overwhelming support that members show one another. One example is St. Gabriel's Helping Hands Ministry. They collect and donate food, gently used clothing and hygiene products on various Saturdays throughout the year. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity you can give them a hand by donating or helping to sort and distribute goods. What a great way to lend a hand to someone in need. Throughout the year Poway citizens support wonderful movements such as coats for kids and the adopt-a-family program during Christmas. Anywhere you turn there is always a helping hand.
